Registration takes place 100% online. This means, if you haven’t pre-registered, and plan on registering at the track you’ll still need to do it online. So, DO IT NOW and save some time at the track.

Main pit area is located at the end of Thorne rd. 38.602363, -118.590650. From Highway 95 take a left (North) on Thorne rd. Follow that about 5.5 miles. Just after the 4 railroad tracks, Take a left onto Schurz Road. Do not pit in the first 300 feet from the intersection. Pitting is ok on either side of the course. The pit area is rather soft in some areas, so be careful.

Please!!!! Do not park your RV or trailers parallel with the course. We are going to have a lot of racers and need to conserve as much space as possible. You will be asked to move and re-set your pit up.

You will not need to purchase a transponder if you already have one. Legacy, BITD and Snore all use the same transponders that we do

A majority of the Racing Trax tracker is built into the entry fee, you will need to sign up at Racing Trax.com and pay the additional $100 for the tracker

MX or Quads looking to do the recon lap Friday afternoon will start at 2:30pm

Be sure to set your pit area at both remote pits at least 50 feet from the course. Pit A has a ton of room, pit B is rather cramped, so please be mindful of your space.

The course is closed to pre-running prior to the race. You must take part in the Course recon for bike and quads, or poker run for all others if you want to pre run.

Pit 1 location 38.5534102, -118.3116941 It’ll take about 30 minutes to get from main pit to this location. From the main pit head out to US 95 south. From there, go south on 95 through Hawthorne. It is 20 miles to the left turn. Look for the race markers on the highway. highway is 1.7 miles to the pit area.

Pit 2 location 38°49'16"N 118°23'55"W It’ll take about 40 minutes to get from the main pit to this location. From the main pit head north on Rawhide rd. it’s 10.3 miles through the pass. GO SLOW. After the pass it’ll be an additional est. 10 miles, you must pass visual E and then take a right at the Y. Follow the pink course markers to the pit.

Pit 2 will be manned by Pro Pit. Pro Pit is a professional pit org that VORRA covers the tab for. Please drop off fuel, spare tires, oil, and spare parts during tech on Friday evening.

There are several wash outs. Rule of thumb- Stay on LEFT side on course between rm 20 and 26. Stay righ between rm 30-32 and left again between 32-34. The biggest and deepest are marked with a Danger arrows just before. The worst wash outs are between 32-34. Please be safe. The wash outs are only on the side of the course and do not go across the trach. Be mindful in the areas.

The is no passing on the right side of the course from the start finish to RM3. Passing is only ok on the left side of the course.

25-mph zones will take place at the following locations. the main pit area, Pit 1, and pit 2.

The youth classes will race on Friday afternoon and will run near the main pit area. Keep the main pit road clear.

You will only stop at the start to finish each lap. Please be aware that you may be stopped at a road crossing if oncoming traffic cannot be stopped.

Cos were noted on on course between RM 16 to RM 40. Keep an eye out for them. Racers are responsible for any damage to cows.

On Saturday morning, the racecourse will be hot with the MX/Quad race. Please be mindful of the race going on and stick to the access roads.

Please remember to respect your neighbor in the main pit area and being the main pit area is located on the Army Depot land. We are guests, please respect the land so we can return.
Wednesday June 5th
Track is closed for all pre-running. This is a closed course on BLM land for race weekend only. To pre-run you must take part in the poker run.
Thursday June 6th

Friday June 7th
Main pit location: End of Thorne Road. Same at Gold Rush and Frontier 500 pit area.
Qualifying is limited to pro classes only- Class UT, 1, 6100, 10, Group-T, 4400, Pro turbo UTV, & Pro N/A UTV, Pro stock’s, and N/A UTV, Pro and Expert Quads. Qualifying results will result in an overall start position. If you choose not to qualify, you will start in the normal class starting order- following all those who complete the qualifying loop. To comply with BLM regulations, there is a $100.00 entry to qualify. Overall Fast time wins $300 for trucks/buggy and $200 for fast pro turbo/Unlimited, $ 200 For Pro N/A. $100.00 For fast bike, $100 for fast Quad and $100 for Fast Trike. Minimum 5 per group for payback.
Qualifying line up will be based on the Dog Fight 250 overall finish results. The qualifying course is 3.5 miles long. Vehicle’s will start with 1-minute intervals. If you choose not to Qualify, you will start behind ALL qualifiers, in the normal line up.
Poker Run/pre-run, $25 entry per vehicle with a VORRA or Legacy membership, receives 1 hand (card). $100 for all non VORRA members. All drivers and riders must sign a liability waiver. Prizes will be given for best hands.
Additional cards $25 Max 2 cards per person
All participants will start in groups.

There is a 35mph speed limit. There is no passing. There is no stopping. You may be held at a checkpoint to give a larger gap between vehicles. Unless having a technical or mechanical issue you must not stop. This is about safety. Stay out of the dust. Learn the course!
